With the recent storms, many houses in the neighborhood have roof damage and are being replaced. Due to the high number of roofs being replaced, the board has decided to make a one-time exception and not require architectural approval under certain circumstances. The original intent of the neighborhood covenants was to ensure diversity among properties. The intent was that properties next to or near each other have different roof colors/styles.
If you are replacing your roof with a different material, style, or widely different color that will result in a noticeable difference to the aesthetic design, please speak to the Architectural Control Committee prior to any changes.
- If you are replacing your roof with the same material and the same color as your existing roof, there is no need for approval by the Architectural Control Committee.
- If you are replacing your roof with the same material and a similar color to your existing roof, there is no need for approval by the Architectural Control Committee.
If you are unsure, or have any questions, please contact the Architectural Control Committee.
